Architectural Description: 236 Commercial St. is a 2-story, 3-bay church building; gable-front roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles, full cornice return supported by full-height pilasters; exterior is clad in clapboard siding with wood trim; building sits on a brick foundation; fenestration includes paired 9/9 wood DHS, side facades contain 6/6 DHS on 1st story and 15-light paired, two-windows-over-two windows on 2nd story; monumental wood entrance with paired doors, pilasters and entablature; stepped bell tower; secondary entrance is accessed by a panel door with 4-light transom; exterior steps to 2nd-story entry on east facade near rear.
