Architectural Description: 168 Commercial St. is a 2-1/2 story, 4-bay, astylistic multi-family dwelling with commercial space; gable-front roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles, shed dormer, wood cornice with partial returns, skylights; exterior is clad in clapboard siding with wood corner boards; building sits on a parged foundation; fenestration includes paired and single 2/2 wood replacement DHS, and 4-pane replacement windows; primary entrance is accessed through a side porch supported by wood posts on a wood balustrade; 1st-story enclosed porch on front facade used as commercial space; 2nd-story deck with wood balustrade and exterior wood side staircase wraps around the front and side facades with a pergola on the front facade; secondary entrances on 2nd and 3rd stories are accessed by sliding glass doors; extensive alterations to side and rear facades include exterior steps, decks, multiple additions, and altered fenestration.
