This will surely be a treasured source for family history answers to mysteries in many a genealogy. On behalf of all Provincetown fishing families ever, I thank you for recording the passing of these men to Heaven's side.
Also, please note another Provincetown fisherman drowning, recorded in the Provincetown Advocate newspaper of January 1918: Captain Manuel Caton and crew lost off the coast of Florida while fishing for snapper Dec/Jan 1918. He had owned and captained several schooners, such as the Philomena Manta, Addison Center, and more. Husband of Ida Silva Caton, and former resident of Provincetown. (my great great grandparents)
