Boy in a boat at dock
Black and white postcard, circa 1915, showing a boy in a boat tied up to a wharf on the Provincetown waterfront working with a man on fishnets. In the backround is a view, some beached small boats, of houses and some parked cars on Commercial Street. The wharf, known as "Conwell's Wharf" was located at 401-401 1/2 Commercial Street. | |

The man on the wharf is my grandfather Antone Costa who was married to Anica Coelho Costa. Their sons were Antone" Tony Cheroot", John & Arthur of Art's Dune Tours. the boy in the boat is my dad Tony Cheroot. They lived on Washington Ave, so the Law St. ID is correct. Thank-you for this great site.
