From the collection of the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum, a random and eclectic group of notes and newspaper articles of interest to Joe Oliver, former owner of 24 Pearl Street, the current location of the Fine Arts Work Center. Dates range from the early 1960's through the 1990's. The collection includes information on the Chrysler Art Museum, Burlin at the Borgenicht Gallery, Fine Arts Work Center Newsletter (1968) with a photo of Stanley Kunitz, Agnes DeMille and Robert Motherwell, Rose Dorothea at Provincetown Heritage Museum, legacy of Eugene O'Neill, Joe Oliver Day at the Fine Arts Work Center, newspaper articles on large fish caught locally, young mariners on a long trip from NY to Miami, photos of the Carlotta crew (1965-66), lost crewmen of the Charlotte, restoration party for the Charlotte, Joe Oliver's obituary.
