The book that impressed me most this past winter is, The Compleat Brown Trout by Cecil E. Heacox. past Deputy Commissioner of the New York State Conservation Department. It is the history of the "Salmo Trutta," the brown trout, told from the point of view of a biologist who is an avid fly fisherman .
