Jan Kelly writes a weekly column for Provincetown Magazine. One of the most interesting, entertaining and interactive programs is the Breeches-Buoy Demonstration. This is a method used for saving crewmen one at a time from doomed ships. The method, developed by American ingenuity was practiced from 1902 to 1962.
