Jan Kelly writes a weekly column for Provincetown Magazine. In this article she begins with a report of all the song birds serenading at Beech Forest and follows that with an account of a loud night of music and dancing at Piggy's. Anne Kane is recuperating from knee surgery. A sighting of Halley's Comet at the Breakwater with discussion between Jan and Stormy Mayo as to it being less than spectacular. Adelaide Kenney and Adelaide Gregory both lived in houses with a 23 inch floorboard, one at 391 Commercial and one in the 'oldest house' at the Corner of Commercial and Soper in the west end. The city of Rome celebrated its 2739th birthday on April 21st. Vladimir Horowitz played in Moscow. | |
