Town Hall - miscellaneous records from 1978-1997

Miscellaneous records from Town Hall's archives detailing costs and repairs to the clock tower by Tom Rand and the American Steeple & Tower Co. There is a letter to the Chief of Police from Dick Rowe who was concerned about kids damaging the newly built front steps with their bicycles and roller blades. Also in this file is a letter detailing awards from the Provincetown Historical Commission in 1997, noting in particular the Commission's Preservation Award to Town Hall for the 'Best Replication of Original Front Stairway', signed by Lauren Richmond, Chairman. There is also a history of Provincetown's Town Hall Tower Clock by Sandra Turner, DPW Deputy Director.
