Cape Cod Whalers of Color

An exhibit entitled 'Cape Cod Whalers of Color' showed materials collected by George Bryant and was held at Cape Cod Community College in 1998. There is evidence that many of the crew members aboard whaling ships out of Provincetown were black men from the West Indies.
