Nellie F. Putnam Journal

This is a Journal kept by Nellie F. Putnam, a resident of Provincetown (and the older sister of Town Librarian Abby Putnam) from November 13, 1878 until February 11, 1879. During this time she attended school, traveled with her parents to New York City and returned to Provincetown, and describes various events happening in Provincetown. The Transcriber has also created at the end of the file a list of the people and businesses mentioned in the Journal, as well games and other activities that Nellie and her friends participated in.
