This is an index created by Provincetown History Project volunteer Julia Louise Perry from information appearing in the back of a Journal kept by the Union Marine Railway of Vessels that it bought fish from between 1875 and 1894. The back of the Journal contains a listing of payments to and from the Railway in connection with these purchases. The index identifies the individuals, businesses - primarily Provincetown businesses - and ships involved and what was being purchased or paid for. The Journal is in the Pilgrim Monument Collection.
