Design Charette: A Documentary written by Anne D. LeClaire, photographer Norma Holt, project direct Adele Heller - documentation of the Provincetown Playhouse Design Charette was made possible through a grant from the Massachusetts Foundation for Humanities and Public Policy, Amherst, MA., a program of the National Endowment for the Humanities, 1978. Seven New England architects participated in the Design Charette, the winner was William Warner of Exeter, N.H., chosen by a jury of nationally prominent architects headed by I.M. Pei. Also included with this material are pictures of the design and related memos, documents and newspaper clippings pertaining to the project. | |
