the provincetown history project is a wonderful resource for the town. one correction that i might make is that in the description in the section on dune shacks it states that these dwellings are in the provincelands. that is not the case. one of the dune shacks is in the historic provincelands and that one is known as c-scape. it was moved from its original site because of erosion. the remaining dune shacks in provincetown are not inside the provincelands. it is a fact that the history project must try to correct if it is to be built on fact. the cape cod national seashore has verified this in its publications and documents. it is essential that the historic project be accurate in this matter. thanks for the opportunity to comment on this site. in most every other way it is a well done tool we can all support.
