Architectural Description: 5 Snow Street is a 1-1/2-story, 6-bay cottage; side-gable roof is sheathed in wood shingles; interior brick ridge chimney; exterior is clad in clapboard siding with wood trim; fenestration includes single 2/2 wood DHS with shutters; two single-leaf entrances on front facade, both have a simple wood door surround with pilasters and entablature. |

Historical Narrative: Tax assessment dates property to 1800. As per Josephine Del Deo (1977): home of Wallace Bassford of St. Louis MI. Artist, teacher since early 30s still living and actively paint 1989 |
