Architectural Description: 3 Conant Street is a 2-story, 5-bay building, facing southward toward Commercial Street. The cross gable roof is clad in asphalt shingles; partial cornice returns; frieze below eaves. The building has double primary entrances, with exterior modern storms; flat shallow hoods and wood surrounds. The entrances are not directly adjacent - a window is located between the two doors. A secondary entrance with storm door faces Conant Street. Fenestration includes 6/6 wood DHS throughout with inoperable shutters and storms. A 1-story, flat roof addition is located on the northeast corner. An addition at the east end of the building is setback slightly. |
