Architectural Description: This is a 1 1/2 to 3-story, 3-bay sidehall with 2-bay side ell and additions. The irregular roof is clad in asphalt shingles; partial cornice returns; shed dormer on side ell; balustrade around roof edge on south side of second story roof; interior brick chimney up the south side, exiting adjacent to third story addition. The roof of the third story addition is gable front with partial returns. The primary entrance contains a modern panel aluminum door with flat shallow hood covered in vinyl, accessed by poured concrete platform. Two secondary entrances are located on the 1st floor of the south facade, each containing pane and panel aluminum doors accessed by 2 brick steps. A 2nd-story porch with square balusters is located on the rear (east) facade. Fenestration includes 6/6 DHS wood with inoperable shutters (1st and 2nd floor front); 6/6 wood and 4-pane vinyl casement in shed dormer on side ell; 6/6 vinyl DHS on 2nd floor and 4-pane vinyl casements above on south facade; square Palladian vinyl window with 6-pane vinyl awning and 6/6/6 triple hung sash in third story addition. A 1-story flat roof section is located on northeast side of the building. |
