Architectural Description: This is a 1 1/2-story, sidehall cottage with an ell. The gable end has partial returns, and there is a frieze below the eaves of the ell. The ell also extends to the rear of the building. A large shed dormer was added to the southern roof slope. A gabled dormer is located in the front roof slope of the side ell. Windows are historic and replacement 6/1 DHS, which are typical of the Colonial Revival period. The front entry porch, with a flat roof an Doric columns, is also typical of the period. Recently resided. Porch contains a brick stoop. Multi-pane storm wood door. The right side facade contains 6/1 DHS and 2 secondary entries - one with a wood deck. The left side facade contains 6/1 DHS. The rear facade contains a 1-story addition with entry and 6/1 DHS window. |
