Architectural Description: This building is a 1-story, 5-bay center entry cottage with a rear ell. Shed dormer on rear roof slope; brick chimney at north gable end. Primary entry is a pane and panel door with storm and minimal pilasters and entablature. Fenestration includes a Chicago-style picture window, encompassing both bays to the left of the central entry, with single-pane center and 4/1 DHS at sides; 6/1 DHS with wood trim and operable plank shutters; multi-pane oriel window on south facade, and 6/1 replacement DHS. The rear ell has a separate entrance and 6/6 DHS. Exterior wood stairs access 2nd story entry on north gable end. |
