Architectural Description: 8 Cudworth Street is a 2-story, 2-bay dwelling with a setback side ell. The front-gable roof has partial returns; stuccoed brick chimney near ridge. The main entry consists of a 2-pane and panel door with storm; wrapped simple entablature above. Fenestration includes a shallow canted bay with hipped roof, multi-light false-divided center window and 4/4 DHS side windows, supported by brackets, located adjacent to the door; replacement 1/1 DHS (vinyl) with inoperable louvered shutters. Side ell has gable roof, stuccoed brick chimney at ridge. Fenestration, including secondary door and windows, matches main block. Brick patio across side ell facade. |
