Architectural Description: 226 Bradford Street is a 1-story, 4-bay, Vernacular Greek Revival-style 3/4 cottage; the roof is side gable with a central brick chimney at the roof ridge, a brick chimney rises from the junction of the ell and main building and a shed dormer has been added to the rear roof slope and gable and double-gable dormers also exist; the exterior is clad in wood shingles and the foundation is obscured; the fenestration includes 12/12 wood DHS on the primary facade, 9/6 wood DHS windows with operable shutters on the side facade, 8/12 replacements in the gable dormers; the primary entrance contains a panel door with aluminum storm door, is flanked by pilasters and has a 4-light transom above, and a secondary door is located on the side facade; 1-story gabled ell with separate entry extends from the rear with a skylight; An adjacent gable-roof ell extends is on the east side |
