Architectural Description: 5 Johnson Street is a 2-story, 2-bay dwelling. The cross gable roof is clad in asphalt shingles; brick chimney at roof ridge; partial returns. The wall of the second story flares out over the first story. A large cross-gable wall dormer is located on the south facade - this interrupts the cornice and flares out between the first and second stories. The primary entrance includes an aluminum panel door offset to the right with vinyl 3-pane sidelights and modern storm. Fenestration includes 1/1 vinyl DHS; triangular multi-pane-over-one wood DHS (Queen Anne); narrow paired 1/1 vinyl DHS adjacent to the door; inoperable shutters; paired single-pane vinyl casements in the basement. |
