Architectural Description: 122 Commercial St. is a 1-1/2 story, 3-bay Folk Victorian-style cottage with Greek Revival-style elements; gable-front roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles, decorative cornice, and skylights; exterior is clad in clapboard, with lattice vergeboard in gable end; Greek Revival-style cornice and corner pilasters; fenestration includes Chicago-style window with 4/1 DHS, modern picture windows, 6/6 DHS replacements on side facade, paired 2/2 DHS in gable dormer, multi-light dormer with wood storm window; sliding glass doors and triangular windows; primary entrance is accessed by replacement door with wood storm door, full-width 1st- and 2nd-story open porches with turned posts and spindlework; secondary entry with pilasters and entablature; metal railings and metal grid detail in gable end; small shed-roof addition extends from rear facade; exterior wood staircase to 2nd-story entry.
