Architectural Description: 18 Commercial St is a 1 1/2-story; 4-bay, 3/4 cottage with 2 telescoping additions; The side gable roof contains a brick chimney offset at the roof ridge and a gable dormer on the north facade; Primary entrance includes panel door, multi-light wood storm; 4-light transom; pilasters, wood steps and landing; Fenestration on the primary facade includes 6/6 DHS wood windows with operable shutters and wood trim and storms, 6-light basement windows; A central secondary entrance located on the west facade includes a multi-pane door with 4-light transom, and wood stairs and porch, Flanked by 12/12 and 6/6 windows, with 9/6 windows in the gable end and 6-light replacement basement windows, all with operable shutters; Additions have 12/12 DHS.
