Architectural Description: 338 Commercial St. is a 2-story, 3-bay, vernacular Greek Revival-style former dwelling with a projecting 1-story storefront addition; the gable-front roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles with partial cornice returns; exterior is clad in clapboard siding with wood corner pilasters and trim; building sits on an obscured foundation; fenestration includes replacement sliding windows on the upper stories and full-height glass panels sheltered by a cloth awning on the 1st story porch; the storefront addition has a central entry flanked by single-light windows, and an entablature at the cornice supported by simple corner pilasters.
