Architectural Description: 376 Commercial St. is a 2-story, 3-bay Queen Anne-style dwelling converted to commercial use; irregular roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles; exterior is clad in wood shingles with wood pilasters and trim; building sits on a brick foundation; fenestration includes some 1/1 DHS replacement windows, some 1/1 wood DHS historic; central entry flanked by bay window shaded by a cloth awning; storefront has flat roof, spindlework and dentils beneath porch roof, knee braces support the roof porch roof, brick steps and iron railing to entrance; Greek Revival details include corner pilasters, partial cornice returns and simple wood trim around windows; later Queen Anne details include spindlework, front bay window, 2nd-story bay window on side facade, and irregular roofline. This building has a front-gable roof on the front facade which extends from a side gambrel roof at the rear section; the bay window has decorative twisted corner posts; raised basement exhibits an entry below grade and the main entry above; left side facade contains exterior steps to 2nd-story entrance and 1-story addition near rear, adjacent to 1-story ell on raised basement; right facade has gambrel roof, bowed bay window on 2nd story, 1/1 DHS.
