Architectural Description: 7 West Vine is a 2-story, 6-bay dwelling; side-gable roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles; exposed rafter ends; interior brick chimney; north facade has two end entrances with wood panel doors and aluminum storms; entrances are both sheltered by a gable-front entry porch supported by square posts with a built-in bench on 1 side; next to entry doors is a 20-pane wood picture window flanked by 4/4 wood DHS; between the picture windows are 6/6 wood DHS with operable shutters; the 2nd floor contains 2 shed wall dormers with paired 8/8 wood DHS windows flanking two 6/6 wood DHS with operable shutters and a shallow balcony with balustrade and is supported by brackets; a canted bay window on the west facade has a hipped roof and paired 6/6 wood DHS flanked by 4/4 wood DHS; 6/6 wood DHS in the gable end with inoperable shutters; rear (south) elevation contains exterior wood steps to a 2nd-story porch with entrances. |
