Architectural Description: 154 Commercial St. is a 2-1/2 story, 2-bay, Colonial Revival-style sidehall cottage with side ell; gable-front roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles, interior brick chimney with double flue; exterior is clad in wood shingles with wood corner boards; building sits on a brick foundation; fenestration includes 6/6 wood DHS, Chicago-style multi-light picture window with flanking 4/4 DHS; single and triple 6/6 DHS on right side facade; primary entrance is accessed by a replacement door and storm door, wood door surround with pilasters and sidelights, brick stoop; small patio with wood balustrade; exterior wood staircase on side facade provides access to 2nd-story entry; 2-story addition extends from the side facade; two gable-roof additions lit by awning and sliding windows extend from the rear facade.
