Nathaniel Atwood Correspondence - two copies
Two handwritten copies of a letter, dated May 28, 1867, from George Batz Blake to (probably) U.S. Ambassador Adams in support of the character of Captain N.E. Atwood and Captain Nathaniel Atwood. These are evidently copies of Blakes's letters since they are written in Atwood's handwriting, on his stationary with the embossed head (see similar stationary on letter dated October 2, 1867). | |
