Architectural Description: 6 Central Street is a 1 1/2-story, 3-bay sidehall cottage with 3-bay side ell flush with front. The side gable ell roof has skylights; brick chimney on rear ell.. The main entry consists of a multi-pane and panel door with sidelights on an enclosed flat roof vestibule. The vestibule roof extends to form an entry porch, supported by fluted columns. A secondary entrance centrally located on the side ell, with a jalousie storm door. Another secondary entrance is located on the south facade. Fenestration includes 1/1 DHS; 2/1 and 6/6 DHS; paired 6-light casements and grouped multi-light casements. A small deck porch is located on the primary facade, between the entries. |
