Historic District Survey information for 42 Bradford St
Architectural Description: This is a 1 1/2-story, 3-bay former dwelling that is now a commercial building. A storefront was added in the 1970s, which includes a central double door entry and plate glass display windows. The gable end, facing the street, has partial cornice returns and three 1/1 DHS windows with wood trim. Doors are full glass and metal. Windows have brick sills. The right facade contains single-light awning windows, skylight, gable dormer with 1/1 DHS, and exterior steps to 2nd story entry. The left side facade contains skylights, single-light awning windows, rear addition and exterior steps to roof deck on 1-story rear addition. Reclad with wood shingles in 2004.
