Architectural Description: 519 Commercial St. was built in several parts; the first is a 2-story, 3-bay section; hipped roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles; exterior is clad in wood shingles with wood trim; fenestration is comprised of replacement windows, including paired single-pane wood, 6-pane wood, single-pane vinyl and 8-pane vinyl casements; primary entrance in projecting shed-roof vestibule is accessed by a modern metal pane-and-panel door; an enclosed 1-story front porch extends west to cross another gabled section. The second section is a 1-story Chapel; gable-front roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles; exterior is clad in wood shingles; fenestration includes 4-pane wood casement windows; primary entrance is accessed by a wide plank wood door with large strap hinges; gable roof extends over porch, contains exposed king post truss-work, and is supported by square wood posts; vented cupola over front porch has a crucifix finial; the chapel has a rear ell that connects to the extended porch from the 2-story section.
