Architectural Description: 605 Commercial St. is a 2-1/2-story, 3-bay dwelling; clipped-gable roof is sheathed in wood shingles; shed dormers on roof slope; interior brick chimney; exterior is clad in wood shingles with wood trim; slight wall flare between 1st and 2nd floors; fenestration includes 6/6 wood DHS, 9/1 wood DHS, 3/3 wood DHS, diamond-pane-over-1 DHS, Queen Anne pane-over-1 DHS windows; inoperable shutters; balcony at gable-end, primary entrance is accessed by French doors that appear to be historic, but are flanked by full-length wood single-pane sidelights; modern sliding glass door; belt course above 1st floor; 3rd-story balcony supported by brackets with paired modern French doors; exterior steps access 2nd and 3rd floors on north facade; south side contains 1st-story enclosed porch with single-pane awning windows, glassed-in porch on 2nd story and open porch on 3rd story.
