Architectural Description: 131 Commercial St. is a 2-story, 3-bay vernacular Greek Revival-style commercial building; gable-front roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles, partial cornice returns, interior brick chimney at roof ridge; exterior is clad in clapboard with wood cornerboards, building sits on a brick foundation; fenestration includes 8/1 DHS wood windows on 1st story, 2/2 DHS wood windows on 2nd and 3rd stories, 6/6 wood windows on side facade; primary entrance is accessed by modern pane-and-panel aluminum door with modern wood panel surround; 1-story section extending from the rear facade has a gable-front roof, is clad in wood shingle siding, sits on a concrete block foundation, is lit by 6/6 DHS wood and 6-pane wood casement windows, and has a rooftop deck.
