Architectural Description: 665 Commercial St. in a 2-story, 3-bay dwelling; gambrel roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles; exterior is clad in clapboard siding; fenestration includes fanlight in gable end; 6/6 DHS windows with inoperable shutters; decorative door surround with pediment and attached Doric columns; leaded fanlight over door with keystone above; porch incorporated under roof kick-out on right side with wood deck, balustrade and Doric columns; ell addition on right side; shed dormer in roof. Brick steps from street to path to door. Storm door. Picket fence curves at brick steps. Side ell setback with 6/6 DHS, shallow shed wall dormer. Large brick chimney at roof ridge - likely once an exterior chimney on main building. East facade contains an ell on the gable end, 6/6 DHS with inoperable shutters, shed roof over entry door with end brackets; West facade contains open porch, shed dormer on main roof slope has 9/6 DHS flanked by two 6/6 DHS replacement windows with snap-in muntins; Dutch door entry to porch from house; three 6/6 DHS on 1st story flanking central door.
