Architectural Description: 163 Bradford Street is a 1 1/2-story, 5-bay, Greek Revival-style cottage; the side gable roof is clad in asphalt shingles, with partial cornice returns, two symmetrically placed gabled dormers are located on the front roof slope, and a central brick chimney is located just down the front roof slope from the ridge; the primary facade is clad in clapboards and wood shingles clad secondary facades; the fenestration includes 2/2 vinyl DHS, and have wood trim and operable shutters, the ell contains modern multi-pane vinyl arched windows with single-pane awnings below; the primary entrance contains a door surround including an entablature and a 5-light transom; The rear 1-story ell is located on Law Street and is 3-bays with a wood pane and panel entrance near the rear; Another 1-story section is located in the rear and has a tiny cupola on the roof; Exterior steps to at 2nd-story entrance and deck are located on the west side. |
