Architectural Description: Address in field: 99 Commercial Street; 99 Commercial St. is a 2-1/2-story, 3-bay, vernacular Greek Revival-style commercial building; gable-front roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles and has partial cornice returns; exterior is clad in wood shingles and wood corner boards, with vertical wood siding on 1st-story storefront, foundation is obscured; fenestration includes 6/6 DHS wood windows; storefront has two 9-pane wood bay windows with single-pane sidelights, full-width shed dormer has 16-pane fixed wood windows flanked by 4/4 DHS wood windows; primary entrance in center bay of storefront is accessed by wood pane-and-panel replacement door and aluminum storm door, with full-width pent roof; exterior wood staircase provides access to 2nd story; long addition on rear extends onto wharf.
