Architectural Description: 468 Commercial St. is a 1-1/2-story, 3-bay, Italianate-style dwelling; gable-front roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles, partial cornice returns, skylights, interior brick chimney on roof slope; exterior is clad in clapboard siding with wood trim; building sits on a brick foundation; fenestration includes two flat-roof bays on the 1st story and 1/1 DHS replacement windows above on the front facade; 1/1 DHS replacement and 2/2 wood DHS on other facades, 2/2 DHS in basement; the side facade has a central gable with a 2nd-story window and a central entry; entrance has a flat hood, supported by end brackets, and is flanked by 1/1 DHS windows; door is reached by wood steps; left side facade has substantial moldings above; frieze board; rear 1-story addition sits on piers, is clad in wood shingles and has paired single-light windows.
