Architectural Description: This building is a 2-story, 3-bay dwelling, facing south. The front-gable roof is clad in asphalt shingles with partial returns; exterior end chimney at the north gable end. The western roof slope was raised to accommodate a full second story on this side of the building, creating a shallow roof slope on this side. The building is clad in wood shingles, with bands of staggered and diamond shape shingles. The main entry contains a pane and panel wood door with wood storm and wood surround accessed by concrete block and brick steps. Fenestration includes 2/1 wood DHS on front facade; 6/1 vinyl DHS; diamond pane wood casement. A 1-story shed-roof addition at the north end has a brick foundation, secondary entrance (which may now be used as the primary entrance) containing a pane and panel wood historic door with wood storm; modern flat hood supported by brackets shades the door. |
