Architectural Description: 571 Commercial St. is a 1-1/2-story cottage; cross-gable roof is sheathed in wood shingles; cornice with partial returns and dentils; shed dormer on front roof slope; brick central and exterior end chimneys; exterior is clad in wood shingles with wood trim; fenestration includes 6/6 wood DHS, 8/8 wood windows, inoperable shutters; two entrances contain Greek Revival door surrounds with fluted pilasters, dentils and modern multi-pane door.
Historical Narrative: As per Josephine Del Deo (1977): "571 Commercial former location of Lewis Wharf, site of Provincetown Player's Theater in 1916."
