Architectural Description: 228 Bradford Street is a 1-story, 5-bay, Greek Revival-style center-entry cottage with a T-shaped plan; the side gable roof is clad in wood shingles, a brick chimney is centrally located on the rear roof slope at the ridge; the primary facade is clad in clapboard and secondary facades are wood shingle, the foundation is brick; fenestration includes 6/6 DHS; the primary entrance contains a panel door with full -glass storm flanked by sidelights, and it has pilasters and a broad entablature and is accessed by a concrete and brick stoop leads to the door.
Historical Narrative: As per Tom Boland (1994): 228 Bradford Street is shown on the atlas of 1858. In 1880, it was owned by B.A. Lewis who retained ownership until at least 1901-1907.
