Bangs who owned the wharf and harbor front buildings at 463, 463A and 465 Commercial Street. Mr. Bangs, whom Bangs Street is likely named for, is listed in this house until at least 1880. An Antone George, fisherman, is listed as residing there in the 1886 directory. In 1907, the owner is listed as Mrs. Margaret A. Campbell who operated it as "Campbell House" a boarding house.
