Architectural Description: 607 Commercial St. is a 3-story apartment house; gable-front roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles; gable tower added on front; partial cornice returns; exterior is clad in wood shingles with wood trim; fenestration includes 2/1 wood DHS on 1st and 2nd floor, 1/1 vinyl DHS on the 3rd floor, modern fanlight in gable; shed dormer on 3rd story; modern vinyl casement windows on side facade; belt courses at each level; recessed front wood panel door; porch is supported by huge brackets; exterior steps lead to 2nd- and 3rd-story entries. Likely constructed during the latter half of twentieth century, per NR nomination.
