Architectural Description: 146 Commercial St. is a 2-story, 5-bay, mixed-use astylistic building; gable-front roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles, central brick chimney; exterior is clad in wood shingles with wood corner boards; building sits on a rusticated concrete block foundation; fenestration includes 1/1 wood DHS, 1st-story storefront windows currently covered for season, single-light pentoid window in front gable end, 1/1 replacement DHS on all facades, storm windows; primary entrance is accessed by a plank door sheltered by a flat hood supported by oversized scroll-sawn brackets; projecting square bay with overhanging eaves on front facade; small gable-roof addition on roof asymmetrically straddles roof ridge; modern deck extends from rear facade; 3-story addition.
