Historical Narrative: As per Tom Boland (1994): 4 Anthony Street is shown on the 1836 map and the 1858 atlas, and the owner is listed as J. Atkins on the 1880 atlas. It is one of the first structures on Anthony Street, probably predating the existence of an actual thoroughfare. In 1901, the ownership is noted as John Caton, fisherman. |
