Architectural Description: 147 Commercial St. is a 2-story, 3-bay, vernacular Italianate-style commercial building; gable-front roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles, partial cornice returns; exterior is clad in wood shingles with wood corner boards; building sits on a brick foundation; fenestration includes 1/1 DHS vinyl windows, 1/1 DHS wood windows, multi-pane storefront windows; primary entrance is accessed by a recessed wood pane-and-panel door with a modern 6-pane transom located in the center bay; storefront has paired scroll-sawn cornice brackets; 1- and 2-story gable-roof additions on rear facade have concrete block foundations.
Historical Narrative: Currently called "Provincetown General Store" (2003).
