Architectural Description: 11 Johnson Street is a 2-story, 3-bay sidehall dwelling. The front gable roof is clad in wood shingles; partial returns; gable wall dormer on south facade; frieze below eaves; shed dormer on north roof slope with partial returns; interior brick chimney at peak. Corner boards present. The main entry consists of a pane and panel wood door with modern storm; flat hood with brackets; accessed by brick steps and simple wrought iron hand rail. A secondary entrance at southeast with wood steps and flat block over door. Fenestration includes 2/2 wood DHS with entablature lintels; stained glass awning windows on south facade. A bay on the south facade has a flat hood, brackets under eaves, and scalloped trim. |
