Architectural Description: 184 Bradford Street is a 2 1/2-story, 4-bay Vernacular Italianate-style dwelling with a rear ell; the primary facade faces Millers Hill Road rather than Bradford Street; the roof is cross gable, two large gable-roofed dormers have recently been added to the front and rear roof slopes of the main block, chimney is enclosed with clapboard, partial cornice returns on roof and dormers; fenestration includes 4/1 vinyl DHS windows with simple wood trim, alterations in the gable end; the primary entrance contains a modern multi-pane door, flat-roofed hood supported by brackets; an enclosed porch is located on the secondary (Bradford Street) facade; a 2nd-story deck is located at the rear of the ell; pergola at 1st floor on Bradford side; enclosed porch containing six single pane metal casements; concrete retaining wall on Bradford Street, molded concrete block wall on Miller Hill Road. 2 modern outbuildings in rear used as residences. |
