Architectural Description: 420 Commercial St. is a 1-1/2-story, 3-bay, astylistic dwelling; side-gable roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles, shed dormer on front roof slope, interior brick chimneys on front and rear roof slope near ridge, skylight; exterior is clad in wood shingles with wood corner boards and trim; building sits on an obscured foundation; fenestration includes 2/2 DHS with storm windows, canted bay window with snap-in diamond-shape muntins; primary entrance is accessed by a modern pane-and-panel door with simple pilasters and storm door; wood deck on front facade; 2nd-story deck on side facade is supported by exaggerated knee braces; secondary entry on left side facade; additions extend from side and rear facades.
