Architectural Description: 61 Commercial St. is a 1-1/2-story; 5-bay side gable cottage with a 1-story rear ell; the exterior is clad in clapboard on the primary facade and wood shingles on secondary facades; the roof is clad in wood shingles and includes front gable dormers; a shed dormer on rear slope and a corbelled interior brick chimney; fenestration includes 6/6 and 2/2 DHS vinyl windows; the primary entrance has a wood paneled door and dimple wood surround; the hipped-roof rear addition is clad in vinyl siding.

Historical Narrative: As per Tom Boland (1994): One of several buildings in the area relocated from the settlement as Long Point. Originally owned by John Ghen. Mr. Ghen is noted as having run a store at the Long Point settlement. As of 1880, the site, still owned by Mr. Ghen, had a small wharf attached. By 1907, the property had come under the ownership of Mrs. J. Sears.
